Boats and ships of all kinds are made by members, mainly radio controlled battery operated and some steam driven.

Members sail them at Bradford Moor Park. A Small clubhouse adjoining the lake provides facilities for members

to enjoy a cup of tea, a chat and entertain visitors when the society holds open regattas. Some of the regattas

are eliminators which act as qualifiers towards national championships. Due to the proximity of the residential

property there is a noise limit of 80dB imposed on the site.

 

There is a great deal of expertise within the boating section and any prospective modellers would do well

to go along and avail themselves of the facilities. Help and advice is always readily given.
